BLS Friends of the Arts
The Friends of the Arts (FOA) is a parent group that exists to support and advocate for the music, visual art and drama programs of the Fine Arts Department at BLS. The Department directly engages at least half of the student population in its activities and enhances the climate and image of the entire school.
Membership
To join FOA, complete this simple onine form and send it with your contribution to the address indicated on the form.
Membership fees support programs, activities and equipment approved by FOA. Although membership is not required to participate in the FOA, all BLS families and supporters are invited and encouraged to join in our fundraising efforts.
Past fundraising efforts have supported:
- scholarships for private instrumental lessons and summer music programs
- painting of Black Box Theatre
- costumes for Show Choir
- curtain for drama productions
- stage risers for music performances
- visual arts supplies
- lighting board for drama productions
- binders for choral program
- program booklets for music and drama performances
- bus transportation for students involved in state-wide competitions
- professional slides for AP Art portfolios
- annual Arts Awards Banquet
Program Book Ads
